Project

Cornflower is a simple yet beautiful flower, whose shape resembles a well-designed geometry, and is a bluish-hued plant. It is not showy, not huge, yet its tiny flowers "decorate" the landscape by the hectare.

Our project is similar, translated into the language of architecture. Its design is clean, its form unique, simple, and yet special.

Our Cornflower project was built in Zamárdi just a few minutes' walk from the shore in a pleasant, family-friendly environment.

The building is characterized by high-quality technical solutions, with colors and shapes intended to represent modern simplicity.

On the ground floor of the building, there is a guest room and guest bathroom, as well as a utility room with a corner designed for a washing machine and dryer.

In the hallway, the Italian OIKOS designer plaster provides a unique appearance, into which the wallpaper doors of the rooms blend seamlessly.

You can reach the upper floor via a custom-made steel-framed oak staircase, bordered by a glass railing. In the stairwell landing, a 2 x 1 m natural stone slab decoration, backlit, welcomes you.

Upstairs, there are 3 bedrooms, two of which are fully furnished. The master bedroom has its own bathroom. In the large bathroom opening from the corridor, we placed a bathtub and a built-in shower. The position of the freestanding bathtub was designed so that you can enjoy the constellations over Lake Balaton through the large skylights.

The proper comfort is ensured by a heat pump system with ceiling cooling in the warm seasons and underfloor heating in winter. Each room is individually controlled and equipped with a remotely accessible thermostat.

Thanks to the favorable orientation of the building, the house is bathed in sunlight all day. The large glass surfaces and increased ceiling heights enhance the sense of space. To prevent overheating, aluminum blinds with motorized operation were installed on the windows. The facade has 20 cm of thermal insulation, while the roof structure contains 30 cm of rock wool insulation.

In the kitchen-living room, the garden experience merges with the interior spaces through the help of a 3-meter sliding door.

All the furnishings of the house were made by the developer's own designed furniture, characterized by the high-quality work of our own carpenter.

The house features a panoramic (Finnish) sauna for five people, providing a comfortable sauna experience on cold or rainy days.

The courtyard garden unfolds as a kind of oasis. There is a designated grill area, and those seeking relaxation are welcomed by a separated relaxation terrace with a motorized pergola cover. Refreshment and splashing are provided by the 3 x 5.5 m pool. You don't even have to wait for good weather, as its water can be heated or cooled with its own heat pump.

The garden is bordered all around by a laurel cherry hedge with landscape lighting. The exterior lights, facade decorative lighting, tree illumination, and outdoor garden lamps can all be controlled remotely and with a timer switch.

The irrigation of the garden is fully automatic, with its water needs supplied by a drilled well.

The courtyard parking is provided for one car through the large motorized gate. Next to the designated parking space, we have installed an electric car charging station.

The area is particularly safe, and according to police statistics, no burglaries or similar incidents have occurred for years. Nevertheless, the building is equipped with a burglar alarm and camera system.
